Theming Workshop for Yoga Teachers

Theming allows students to draw inward, so they can feel more connected to body mind and soul.

This qualifies for 10 hours of Yoga Alliance CEC's

If you’re looking for new and inspiring ideas to ignite and deepen your connection with your students, so you’ll enjoy teaching even more, then this is for you!

Theming allows our students to draw inward, so they can feel more connected in body, mind, and soul.

When our students feel more connected within, they can feel more connected to others and us.

Students are more likely to come back if they feel a connection.

Maybe you want new and fresh ideas to theme your classes, so you feel more connected to your teaching.

Maybe you want some new poses to throw into your sequences to mix things up.

Or maybe you’re looking for help with wording that sounds inviting and enticing to draw in your students.

If any of these things sound like you then this 10 hour Yoga Alliance approved CEC is for you.

You will learn:

  • How to tap into your inner yogi when things feel mundane and you’re out of ideas.

  • How to connect with your students in a way that will leave them coming back for more.

  • Creative ideas to fill your classes and increase your bottom line.

Together we will:

  • Workshop ideas on how to feel more connected to your teaching. This helps to get ideas for theming flowing.

  • Workshop wording when talking or posting about your classes that feels natural and inviting

  • Different sequencing options to go along with your themes to feel refreshed in your teaching.

Meet your trainer Shauna Flash:

Yoga found me at the most difficult time of my life. I was dealing with depression, anxiety, and unbearable back pain.

I was engaging in unhealthy coping mechanisms that left me feeling even more drained and unhealthy.

If I kept going the way I was going it would become a downward spiral, so I took up yoga and found healing in a way I didn’t know was possible.

Now I have taught over 1,000 hours of classes and I’m running a successful yoga business.

I’m excited to connect with other yoga teachers and offer this continued education course.

This will be held as a two day event via Zoom on Friday May 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. MST and on Saturday May 20th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

At the end of this two day event you will receive a PDF with a breakdown of all the things we discussed and a copy of the Zoom recording for future reference.

Super early bird pricing is $99.00 if booked before Saturday April 29th at 5:00 p.m. MST.

P.S. The super early bird registration button will disappear on April 29th, 2023 at 5:01 p.m. MST.

Hear What My Students Have to Say:

Heidi.jpg

It took me too long to finally show up to yoga with Shauna.

A lot of it had to do with time, but really it came down to stepping out of my comfort zone. I was afraid, I didn't know what to expect and I didn't want to be embarrassed.

I am so happy I finally found time to try it! I never want to miss a week; it is such an important part of my week. 1 hour of peace!

Shauna is so helpful and friendly! She is perfect at making every person feel comfortable.

Anytime I am unsure if I am doing a move correctly, she will quietly speak out a reminder to the group. Never calling anyone out specifically, but always giving encouragement to go at your own pace for your body!

If you haven't tried yoga before this is the perfect place to start. If you have, great, you'll have a beautiful space to practice and an amazing instructor.

Thank you, Shauna! My days have been better since I met you!

I have been privileged to know Shauna, in several different capacities:

1) As my yoga mentor.

2) As a business partner.

3) As my yoga instructor.

Shauna was experiencing one of the darkest moments of her life during most of this. When I asked her how she was able to remain so calm and peaceful, she gave full credit to the yoga she was studying and implementing.

Yoga has become a passion and way of life for Shauna. She knows how to put her students and friends at ease, both on and off the mat.

I know of a young man who prefers to do Yoga with Shauna and will travel the 30-minute distance on a Saturday morning, just so he can practice with her.

He says he not only loves the setting, and the great causes Shauna supports, but her energy.

I hope you will come and discover Shauna's quietly wonderful strengths for yourself through her yoga classes and trainings.
